Study on a Class of p-ary Sequences with Four-valued Crosscorrelation

Abstract:

For an odd integer n > 0 and a prime p≡ 3 (mod 4), let be a primitive element of Fpn , where d = pn-1/2 + pk and 0 ≤ k < n. The crosscorrelation of p-ary sequences u(t) =Tr(dt), a ∈F*pn, and m sequences v(t) = Trt) is proved to be four-valued. Moreover, the distribution is also completely determined.
