Higher Dimensional Matrices and Structure Constants for Hopf Algebras

Abstract:

The concept of structure constants for Hopf algebras is introduced and studied in this paper. Higher dimensional matrices are introduced to describe the structure constants for Hopf algebras. The condition for a pre-coalgebra to be a coalgebra and the condition for a pre-bialgebra to be a bialgebra and a Hopf algebra are determined in form of higher dimensional matrices.
