Periodic Solution and Almost Periodic Solution of a Nonmonotone Reaction-diffusion System with Time Delay

Abstract:

In this paper, periodic solutions and almost periodic solution of a nonmonotone reaction-diffusion system with time delay are investigated. By constructing the upper and lower control function and using the method of upper and lower solutions as well as Schauder fixed point theorem, it is shown that the boundary value problem has a unique periodic solution or almost periodic solution. Finally, a classical model arising from chemistry is used to illustrate the obtained results.
