Abstract:

In this paper, we discuss the existence and nonexistence of solutions for the problem

Δ2u =λu + u(N+4)/(N-4)+μf(x), x∈Ω,

u| Ω=Δu| Ω=0,

N>4, where Ω is a bounded smoothness domain in RN,λ∈R\+1,μ≥0,f(x) is a given nonnegative function. Some interesting results have been obtained.
