Abstract:

We are concerned with determining values of r, for which there exist nodal solutions of the periodic boundary value problem
{u''+r f(u)=0,
 u(0)-u(2π)=u'(0)-u'(2π)=0. 
The proof of our main result is based upon global bifurcation techniques.
