Abstract: It is shown that unit spheres of C₀(X) and C₀(Y) are isometric if and only if X and Y are homeomorphic; and each isometry between the unit spheres of C₀(X) and C₀(Y) is necessarily the restriction of an isometry between C₀(X) and C₀(Y) with one part is linear and another part is conjugate-linear.
