Abstract:

1H-Indene-5-carboxamine, N-dibutyl-2,3-dihydro-2-(3-hydroxy-6-(1-methylethy)-2-quinolinyl)-1,3-dioxo is a widely used yellow D2T2 dye. In this paper, the 1H and 13C NMR chemical shifts of the dye were assigned and its structures were determined. The influence of its structure in CDCl3 on its chemical shifts was also discussed.
