Abstract: The microwave transient experimental technique is a new efficient method for studying rotation relaxation processes of gas molecules. In this paper the experiments of transient absorption, transient emission and multipulse series in the coherent transient microwave spectroscopy are introduced and how to use these experiments to measure rotation relaxation times T1 and T2 of gas molecules are also discussed.
