水溶液体系ESR现场测量新型电解池

摘要: 设计并研制了用于水溶液体系进行电化学激发-电子自旋共振测量的电解池。以亚甲蓝溶液和聚吡咯薄膜修饰电极的现场ESR研究为例,对该电解池的性能进行了考察。实验不仅为上述两个体系的研究提供了新的信息,而且也证明电解池设计合理、控制工作电极电位准确、响应快及灵敏度高,对研究水溶液体系电化学反应中间体、特别是现场制备和研究薄膜化学修饰电极极为有用。

Abstract: An electrochemical cell used for in situ electron spin resonance (ESR) measurements nnder electrochemical excitation in aqueous solution was designed and fabricated. Taking the in situ ESR investigation of methylene blue solution and polypyrrole film modified electrode as examples,the characteristics of the cell has been examined. The experiments performed in this cell not only provide new information for electrochemical processes of the two systems but also show that this cell is resonably arrangeed and has the outstanding advantages of precise potential control of the working electrode, rapid response and high sensitivity. This ESR cell is much useful for observing the intermediates or short lived species produced electrochemically in aqueous solution or other systems with large dielectric constant. Meanwhile, it can be applied for in situ preparing and studying film modified electrodes under different conditions with very convenient operation.
